Exploding Numbers

Learning numbers can be fun with this number stencils painting activity. You can also paint these colorfully exploding numbers onto gift boxes or pencil holders.

Materials Needed

  • Sketch paper
  • Construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Masking tape or scotch tape
  • Poster paint
  • Roller brushes or paint brushes
  • Palette

Steps

Step 1 Exploding Numbers 1. Draw and cut out numbers from construction paper.
Step 2 Exploding Numbers 2. Put tape on several areas at the back of each number.
Step 3 Exploding Numbers 3. Stick the numbers onto sketch paper.
Step 4 Exploding Numbers 4. Prepare different colors of paint on your palette. Do not mix too much water with your paint. We don't want the paint to be runny.

Step 7 Exploding Numbers 7. Once you're finished painting all the numbers, set the picture aside to dry.
