Steps

Step 1 Teddy Tells the Time 1. Choose two colors of construction paper for your two-toned teddy bear.
Step 2 Teddy Tells the Time 2. Draw and cut a number "8" on one color of construction paper. This will be the bear's body.
Step 3 Teddy Tells the Time 3. Trace the outer edges of the number "8" on the other color of construction paper.
Step 4 Teddy Tells the Time 4. Using the number "8" as a guide, draw two circles on top to make the bear's ears, two arms and a pair of legs on its body.
Step 5 Teddy Tells the Time 5. Cut out the teddy bear.
Step 6 Teddy Tells the Time 6. Glue the number "8" on top of the teddy bear, aligning its edges with the bear's body.
Step 7 Teddy Tells the Time 7. Use crayons to add details on your teddy bear: two round eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Each ear should have a half-circle like any teddy bear.
Step 8 Teddy Tells the Time 8. Draw an oval on each arm and leg. Don't forget to color inside each oval.
Step 9 Teddy Tells the Time 9. Use crayons, markers, or puffy paint to write the numbers 1 to 12 on the circle around bear's tummy.

If you want the numbers to be accurately positioned like a real clock, you can mark the correct spots before writing the numbers.
Step 10 Teddy Tells the Time 10. Make the clock's hands by drawing and cutting out two arrows from construction paper. One arrow should be slightly longer.
Step 11 Teddy Tells the Time Ask for an adult's help11. Align the arrows and use a hole punch to make a hole near the base. Insert a round paper fastener through the hole.
Step 12 Teddy Tells the Time Ask for an adult's help12. Punch a hole at the center of teddy's tummy.
Step 13 Teddy Tells the Time 13. Insert the round paper fastener through the hole and split its ends at the back.
Step 14 Teddy Tells the Time 14. Now you're ready to learn the time with teddy. Can you tell what time it is? Move the arrows around to change the time.
