Monkey Tree
What's a monkey's favorite treat? Make this ingenious monkey craft where the monkey is climbing his favorite tree to get his favorite fruit- Bananas!

1. | Print out this template for the monkey and bananas on white card stock, or draw your own version on white construction paper. | |

2. | Cut the monkey and the bunch of bananas. | |

3. | Color the monkey and bananas using crayons or paint. | |

4. | Remember to color both sides of the monkey. | |

5. | Cut green construction paper into a 16 in. x 12 in. rectangle. | |

Make the banana tree trunk by rolling the green rectangle into a long cone. Insert a paper cup at the base to provide support. Also make sure that the tip of the cone should have a small opening (around 1.5 in. to 2 in. diameter). | |

7. | Tape the edges of the cone in place. | |

8. | Trim off any excess length of paper at the base and tape the paper cup to the base of the cone. | |
