1. |
Fold any colored sheet of paper in the middle. |
2. |
Draw half a heart shape along the paper's folded edge. This will be the fish's body. |
3. |
While keeping the paper folded, cut along the outlines. When unfolded, you will see that the paper shape is a heart! |
4. |
Following steps 1 to 3, cut out smaller paper hearts of varying sizes to make the fish's fins, lips and tail. |
5. |
Keep the largest heart folded in the middle and try positioning it so that it somewhat resembles a fish. I positioned mine so that the straight (and folded) edge is on top and slightly slanting downwards. The fish greeting card can be opened from the bottom. |
6. |
Glue a fairly large heart shape at the tip of the fish to make the tail. |
7. |
Glue one heart along the top edge of the body and one along the bottom to make the fish's top and bottom fins. |
8. |
Glue a small heart along the fish's curved edge to make the lips. |
9. |
Flip the entire fish over so that all the glued areas are at the back. Glue another heart somewhere along the middle section of the fish. |
10. |
Glue on a wiggle eye. Draw details on the fish if you like. You can make stripes, dots and fun patterns on the fish's body and tail. |
11. |
Finally, open your fish greeting card and write your greeting or message inside. |
