Standing Paper Animals

A collection of cute animals to print out, color and make into standing paper figures.	Safety Tips Kids 8 years and younger should use child-safe scissors.
Materials Printable card stock Scissors Colored pencils or crayons Glue stick

Steps

	1.	Print out any of these animal templates on A4 or Letter size card stock: Circus Animals Jungle Animals Polar Animals Safari Animals
	2.	Print out the corresponding bases and stands on card stock: Circus Animal Stands Jungle Animal Stands Polar Animal Stands Safari Animal Stands
	3.	Color and cut out the animals.
	4.	Cut out the bases and stands as well. Each base and stand has a pair of dotted lines along the edges. Make a slit along these dotted lines.
	5.	Each template base has an animal's name on it. Glue each animal onto the designated base, positioning it as close to the bottom edge as possible and keeping clear of the slits that you made in Step 4.
	6.	Bend each stand in the middle and unfold to come up with a V-shaped piece.
	7.	Unless specifically labeled with the animal's name, the stands can be used on any of the animals. Interlock the slits on the base with those of the stands.
	8.	The interlocked base and stand will allow the paper animal to stand.
	9.	Craft as many standing paper animals as you like!
