Standing Paper Animals craft

Materials

  • Printable card stock
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils or crayons
  • Glue stick

Steps

Step 1 Paper Zoo Animals 1. Print out any of these animal templates on A4 or Letter size card stock:
Step 2 Paper Zoo Animals 2. Print out the corresponding bases and stands on card stock:
Step 3 Paper Zoo Animals 3. Color and cut out the animals.
Step 4 Paper Zoo Animals 4. Cut out the bases and stands as well. Each base and stand has a pair of dotted lines along the edges. Make a slit along these dotted lines.
Step 5 Paper Zoo Animals 5. Each template base has an animal's name on it. Glue each animal onto the designated base, positioning it as close to the bottom edge as possible and keeping clear of the slits that you made in Step 4.
Step 6 Paper Zoo Animals 6. Bend each stand in the middle and unfold to come up with a V-shaped piece.
Step 7 Paper Zoo Animals 7. Unless specifically labeled with the animal's name, the stands can be used on any of the animals. Interlock the slits on the base with those of the stands.
Step 8 Paper Zoo Animals 8. The interlocked base and stand will allow the paper animal to stand.
Step 9 Paper Zoo Animals 9. Craft as many standing paper animals as you like!
