Make an easy whale greeting card for a loved one made out of paper heart shapes.

  • Small craft materials such as wiggle eyes are choking hazards. These are not appropriate for use by children below the age of three.
Whale o' Hearts Greeting Card craft

Materials

  • Blue or gray construction paper
  • White construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Wiggle eye

Steps

Step 1 Whale o' Hearts Greeting Card craft 1. Fold a blue or gray-colored sheet of construction paper in the middle. Draw half a heart shape along the paper's folded edge. This will be the whale's body.
Step 2 Whale o' Hearts Greeting Card craft 2. While keeping the paper folded, cut along the outlines. When unfolded, you would see that the paper shape is a heart!
Step 3 Whale o' Hearts Greeting Card craft 3. Transform the folded heart into a whale by positioning it in a horizontal position, with its straight edge along the bottom and the opening on top.
