Cut construction paper into an approximate size of 15 x 10 inches. |

Cut 2 more pieces of construction paper, one is 2/3 the size of the first and the other is 1/3 the size of the first, these are 10 x 10 inches and 5 x 10 inches, respectively. |

Glue the middle-sized piece on top of the largest piece, aligning them on one side. |

Glue the smallest piece on top of the middle-sized piece, again aligning them on one side. The result is a three-toned background for your picture. |

You can style the edges of the background paper by cutting with a pair of craft scissors. |

To make the people, cut colored paper into 3 triangles for the bodies and 3 circles (or ovals) for the heads. |

Glue the shapes onto the background. |

Draw faces on each one. Add character with interesting facial expressions. |

Draw clothes and arms on each one as well. |
 |

Decorate their clothes by drawing patterns with crayons. You may decorate with stickers or glue on sequins or small craft foam shapes as well. |

It's time to do some hairstyling. Find materials to make the hair such as yarn, strings, craft braids, feathers, colored cotton, curly ribbons, colored pasta, pompoms, steel wool, raffia, shredded paper, self-hardening clay or other materials you can come up with. |
