1. |
Obtain a paper plate to make Santa's head. Scrunch up a strip of newspaper or any piece of paper and form it into a nose shape. |
2. |
Position the paper plate bottom side up. Glue the nose at the center of the plate. Allow the glue to dry. |
3. |
Paint the paper plate with any water-based paint. You can give your Santa Claus any skin coloring that you like. I mixed a bit of brown with white paint to make a light-colored skin tone. |
4. |
Once the paint has dried, draw your Santa's facial features using crayons or markers. |
5. |
Cut out a triangle out of red construction paper to make Santa's hat. Glue the hat on Santa's head. |
6. |
Glue on some cotton to line the bottom of Santa's hat. Make a small round cotton ball and glue this at the tip of the hat. |
7. |
Glue some more cotton to make Santa's bushy eyebrows and mustache. |
8. |
Add more cotton to make Santa's beard. To cover larger areas, take a chunk of cotton and loosen the fibers to spread the cotton into a thin and wide swath. |
9. |
Allow the glue to dry before putting up your Santa Claus up as a jolly Christmas wall décor. |
