Make the round frame for your wreath by cutting out the middle section of a paper plate. You can also cut out the entire round frame from cardboard. |
 |
2. |
If you'd like to make a handle, punch a hole close to the outer edge of the round frame. Loop a string around the hole. |
 |
3. |
Cut out strips of green tissue paper or crepe paper and crumple each one into a small ball.
|
 |
4. |
Position the paper plate frame with the bottom side facing up. Glue the crumpled up tissue balls around the round frame. |
 |
5. |
Continue until the entire paper plate is covered with the green tissue balls. |
 |
6. |
The best part of course is decorating the wreath. Gather all sorts of materials that you can glue on:
- Craft materials such as rhinestones, sequins, buttons (gold or silver ones would be super!), beads, pompoms, bows and ribbons;
- Colored tissue or candy foil crumpled up into balls;
- Household materials such as small coins, small plastic toys, pieces from an old Christmas ornament or even broken faux jewelry.

After the glue dries, hang up your Christmas wreath! |
