Clay Charms
These clay creations can be used as key chain charms or bag charms, or can even be worn as a pendant. Make them for your mom on Mother's Day or for your friends on Valentine's Day.

Steps

1. | Prepare the colors of self-hardening clay that you want to use. | |

2. | Mould the clay into the desired shape. You can shape it with your hands or use a cookie cutter or a play dough shape mould. | |

3. | To create this swirly effect, combine two colors of clay, and mix only partially before moulding into the intended shape. | |

Make a link by inserting any of these at the top end of the shape: a.) a paper clip; b.) bend a short pipe cleaner or craft wire into a "U" shape; c.) Loop one end of a short piece of pipe cleaner or craft wire; |

5. | Carefully bury the link deep into the clay until only a small loop is visible. Pat the clay around the link. | |

6. | Some ideas on how to decorate the clay shape: a.) add details with clay; |
