Paper Basket

Choose from three different templates to print out and decorate into a paper basket that you can tote along or glue onto a background.

Materials Needed

Printable paper (A4 or Letter size)
Scissors
Glue stick
Crayons
Decorate with: craft foam shapes,
buttons, beads, rhinestones,
sequins, stickers, glitter glue,
puffy paint, ribbons, etc.

Safety Guidelines

Always let your child use child-safe scissors.

Steps

	1.	Print out any of these basket templates. Print out the first page twice for the Medium and Large baskets.
	2.	Cut out the template pieces.
	3.	Glue the handle onto one of the basket body pieces.
	4.	To make a basket with a "pocket", apply glue along the outer edges of the basket body, except on the top edge.
	5.	Glue the second basket body piece on top of the first, making sure to align both pieces properly.
	6.	Color and/or decorate your basket.
	7.	When the glue has thorougly dried, slip in your other paper craft creations (e.g. Easter eggs, flowers, fruits, etc.) inside the basket's "pouch" or "pocket".
	8.	This basket can be carried around or it can be glued on to a paper background.

Keep paper scraps for reuse in your next craft projects.
When it's finally time to dispose of, or dismantle your craft project, sort out the materials that you can re-use (e.g. beads, rhinestones, sequins, ribbons, etc.) for future craft projects.
