Santa Cone Hat

Materials Red construction paper Scissors Glue Compass or string Stapler Cotton

Steps

	1.	Draw and cut out a half-circle with a radius of 9-10 inches (diameter 18-20 inches) on red construction paper. If your compass is too small, you can use a pencil tied to a string to draw the half-circle.
	2.	Form the half-circle into a medium-sized cone. Make the base as wide as you can or wide enough to fit on your head. Details on making a cone hat can be found here.
	3.	Glue cotton all around the base of the cone hat.
	4.	Form cotton into a ball and glue this at the tip of the cone hat.
	5.	Let the glue dry before wearing your Santa hat.
