More Ideas

Blue cupcake liner butterfly Make fun clip-on butterflies by gluing each cupcake liner butterfly onto a clothespin.

You can also insert a short length of pipe cleaner or twist tie through the butterfly's pipe cleaner body. Twist the ends around anything you want to decorate with these vibrant butterflies. Use them as curtain ties, napkin rings, pencil toppers, wand toppers, or even as finger puppets. You can even make them into whimsical fashion accessories by fastening them onto hats, bags, and headbands.
Cupcake Liner Butterfly with Button Body Add accents if you like. Glue a button, plastic gem, or a foam shape at the center to make the butterfly's body.
Cupcake Liner Butterfly with Beads and Gems You can even place beads at the tips of the antennae.
Cupcake Liner Butterfly with Fuzzy Body And of course, you can make an actual butterfly body by cutting out an oval shape out of paper, felt, foam, or fabric. I made a fuzzy one by folding half-a-pipe cleaner several times into an oval or capsule shape.

Glue the body at the center of your cupcake liner butterfly. Glue a pair of fun wiggle eyes.
