Basic shapes like a heart or a star make lovely pencil toppers. We layered 2 to 3 foam shapes of increasing size for these pretty star and heart pencil toppers. The stars were accented with some glitter glue while a length of rickrack was glued on the heart to create whimsical edges.Printable Star Template
To make an apple pencil topper, print out the fun shapes set and cut out the apple shape. Trace around the apple shape twice—once on red craft foam and then on brown craft foam. Cut out both apple foam shapes. Cut away the stem on the red apple.
