1 Prepare a paper cup.

Find a paper cup to make into your bunny basket. Choose a size that suits your needs—a bigger cup can hold more treats but a small cup makes a really cute mini basket.

2 Cut out a pair of bunny ears.

Cut a pair of long ovals from white construction paper to make the bunny ears. Estimate the size of the ears in proportion to the paper cup.

3 Paint the cup.

Paint the paper cup and the oval ears with white or pastel-colored acrylic paint. To come up with pastel hues, add a bit of pink, blue, purple, or yellow to white paint.

If you are planning to make a white bunny and your paper cup is plain white, you won't need to do this painting step.

4 Cut and glue smaller ovals.

Cut out a pair of smaller paper ovals. Glue each one onto the center of an oval ear.

5 Glue the ears.

Once the painted cup is dry, glue the bottom of the ears inside the paper cup.

6 Create a face.

Glue a pair of wiggle eyes, a pair of cotton balls for the snout and a small pompom for the nose.

7 Make a handle.

Punch a pair of opposite holes close to the cup's mouth. The ears should be at the middle of these holes.

Fasten the ends of a pipe cleaner around the holes to create the basket's handle.

8 Use the basket.

Tie a bow on the handle, if you like.

Fill your mini basket with some Easter candy!
