Mini Pumpkin Basket
Make a cute mini pumpkin basket out of a pair of paper bowls. Create several of these as fun treat bags for a fall or Halloween party or event.

- Two paper bowls
- Green pipe cleaner or ribbon
- Orange and black tempera or poster paint
- Paint brushes
- White glue, tacky glue or glue gun
- Hole punch
- Scissors
STEPS
1Prepare two paper bowls.
Start out with a pair of paper bowls of the same size.
2Cut a hole on one bowl.
Cut out the round base off one paper bowl.
3Glue the two bowls together.
Glue the two bowls together by the mouth to create a pumpkin-shaped basket. You can use white glue, tacky glue or a glue gun.
4Punch a pair of holes.
Punch a pair of opposite holes just below the basket's top opening. These holes are for attaching the basket's handle.
5Paint the basket.
Paint the outside of the basket with orange tempera or poster paint.
6Paint a face.
Paint a face on your pumpkin basket, if you like. Make sure that the two small holes near the top of the basket are on the sides of the face. Let the paint dry completely.
7Attach a handle.
Use a green pipe cleaner or a length of green ribbon or string for the basket's handle. Fasten the ends of the handle around the pair of holes on the basket.
8Use the basket.
This completes the basic steps for making a mini pumpkin basket out of paper bowls. You can add more accents, if you like. You can string beads on the pipe cleaner handle or glue a leaf shape near the base of the handle.
