Colored Aluminum Foil
Color aluminum foil in a few easy steps. Once dry, it can be used for making colorful metallic collages, mosaics, and other craft projects.
Supplies Needed
- Aluminum foil
- White glue or clear liquid glue
- Liquid dishwash soap
- Food coloring
- Paint brush
STEPS
1 Cut aluminum foil.
Cut aluminum foil into sections.
2 Add color to the glue.
Pour white glue or clear liquid glue into a cup or container. For about a tablespoon of glue, add 2-3 drops of food coloring and a drop of liquid dishwash soap.
3 Mix well.
Mix well. Make more colors of glue by repeating Step 2 with various colors of food coloring.
4 Color the aluminum foil.
Use the colored glue mixture to paint on the aluminum foil's shiny side.
5 Let the foil dry.
Color as many aluminum foil sections as you like. Set aside to dry.
6 Use the colored foil.
Once dry, the colored foil is ready to make into collages, mosaics, and other craft projects.
